Academician Marian Sides has been awarded the prestigious Louis H. Bauer Founders Award which is given for the most significant contribution in aerospace medicine by the Aerospace Medical Association. Marian is the 2022 recipient for her dedication to aerospace medicine throughout her career as a leader, innovator and mentor. She has been an educator and mentor to over 10,000 individuals and a leader in aeromedical evacuation sorties and in-flight medical care and humanitarian mission support.

Marian has chaired the Corporate Member Working Group of the Academy for over 10 years. Many congratulations Marian from all of us in the Academy!
