The 1st International Conference of Aerospace Medicine was held in the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie in Paris, France as a joint enterprise between IAASM, the Aerospace Medical Association, the European Society of Aerospace Medicine and the French Aerospace Medicine Society SOFRAMAS from 22-24 September 2022.

The Conference attracted more than 800 delegates who were able to choose between 3 parallel scientific sessions highlighting the current research, thinking and challenges in the field of Aviation and Space Medicine. In addition there were more than 70 posters available for viewing during the periods in between oral presentations.

The consensus was that the meeting was an outstanding success and the Academy is delighted to have been able to participate and collaborate with our friends and colleagues in the other 3 organisations.
